This book presents a new design of compact microstrip antennas, where metamaterial are placed on structure substrate, have been proposed.The newly designed microstrip provide an optimized patch area resulting into a substantial reduction in size compared to a typical microstrip patch designed at the same frequency of operation.The antenna potential characteristics such as return loss,gain and bandwidth has been calculated for the proposed antenna system and measurement has been done by FS-315 spectrum analyzer and SWR Bridge.
